Purpose Built

Brand & Logo Design / Website Design / UI / UX / Social Strategy / Design System

The Overview

This project was a complete approach to a new brand: naming, signage, brand messaging, logo, social, website, SEO and supporting design system.

For blue collar workers & [the general public], who want purposeful goods and services that fit their lifestyle and respect their time, core values and hard earned $$, Purpose-Built Trade Co. is a local industrial outfitter that provides a one-stop-shop for everything they need to feel supported, proud and ready to get the job done-both on and off the jobsite.

Unlike other brick & mortar stores, e-commerce sites, or DTC merchandisers, Purpose-Built transcends the traditional product-based sales model to create a blue collar marketplace where lifestyle, community, and relationships drive the transaction of great products.

The Design

For the Purpose Built project, we crafted an intuitive ecom design, focusing on storytelling and photography that spoke directly to their core audience—those who value authenticity and "dirty hands" over glossy pretense. Our team meticulously developed a logo and brand identity that reflected this ethos, balancing ruggedness with trustworthiness to resonate with Purpose Built's values. By emphasizing intuitive navigation and smart product placement, the ecommerce platform enabled users to seamlessly engage with products and reinforced Purpose Built's position as a brand committed to truth of character.
